Features and Columns
Every aspect of books fascinates me: the people who read them, write them, publish them, sell them, think about them. It’s a fast-changing world, but some things remain constant. I read, browse, trawl, report, probe, vent my opinions on all kinds of books.
Above all, I want to share my passion for the written word and the way it can beguile, charm, disturb and illuminate.
My column, Turning Pages, appears in the Saturday books pages of the Melbourne Age and the Sydney Morning Herald. I also contribute features to both newspapers.
